On the plus side, you get to look at pictures of our gorgeous children. :)
Kyler is our daughter, who is 3 1/2. She will turn 4 in November, and is already going on about 16. She's very headstrong and full of attitude, but she's also very loving and very smart. Hopefully she will be starting school (again) in September. She definitely needs the interaction with the other children. She was in school for a while last year, but when I got pregnant with Sam I was too sick to get up in the mornings and take her. The last day she went I almost passed out in the hallway! So, we're all looking forward to her going back to school this fall.
Sam is our newest addition, and he is 10 weeks old. Lucky for us he is a very happy baby...he's always smiling about something. He loves to be held and talked to. Last night we actually started with some cereal, which was actually quite funny. He ended up licking it off his fingers more than he ate it from the spoon. It was really cute.
Scott has been playing softball...though he missed part of the season because of all my medical problems. For those who don't know, when I had Sam, I had to have an unplanned c-section, and then was sick for several weeks before they finally took my gallbladder out. Finally things are back to normal. Tonight will be Scott's last game of the season, and they are playing to find out if they finish in 1st or 2nd place. So, keep your fingers crossed for 1st!
Me, I just stay at home every day doing the usual...dishes, laundry, keeping the house clean and the kids fed and happy. :) The great thing for me is that my mom, who is 57 years old, finally decided earlier this year that she was ready to give flying a try. She was always too afraid. But, she and my dad flew out here in May, and she loved it. They've already been back again, and are planning a trip later in the year. I've always had to leave Scott behind when I wanted to go and visit, and now I don't always have to do that anymore, which is nice. Plus, they get to enjoy the kids in their normal environment.
Well, that's about it. Told you...we're not very exciting people. We typically stick to the normal old day to day. At least I can keep you posted on the kids!
Love you guys...take care!
